MIXING ENHANCEMENT IN ELECTROOSMOTIC MICROMIXERS

Micromixers have important applications in various pharmaceutical and medical fields. In the present study, enhancement of mixing index electroosmotic micromixer with different geometries is investigated. The commercial software COMSOL Multiphysics 5.4 employed to solve mathematical models. SIMPLEC
 algorithm for coupling velocity pressure A second-order upwind scheme used reduce artificial diffusivity. results show a remarkable effect electric field on efficiency. optimum geometry one no obstacle chamber. For geometry, it demonstrated that efficiency increases voltage, however there are values frequency inlet which exhibits its best performance. 8 Hz 0.1 mm/s, respectively. It revealed can reach about 97%.
